Brett Mason For Sheriff
Character, Integrity, and Accountability With a
“Common Sense Approach”
I am honored to announce my candidacy for the 2018 election of Sheriff of Le Sueur County. In late April of 2017, I was appointed unanimously by the Le Sueur County Commissioners to fulfill the remainder of Sheriff David Tietz’s term until December 31st, 2018. Since that time, I have taken pride in continuing the tradition of treating the public just as they should be treated, and that is with respect and dignity. I am continuing to provide the public with not only the protection that they pay for, but also educate them with proactive community policing.
We strive here at the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office to have a “common sense” approach that starts with myself and my Administration which extends to my entire Staff. We also strive to continuously improve our work product every day. I have instilled those expectations for myself as well as my staff. Those expectations started at the beginning of my career as a patrol Deputy, continued as Chief Deputy, and have been a trademark as goals and objectives as your current Sheriff. I do not see any reason to deviate from those high standards. Those standards should be high because that is what I expect from a Sheriff and that is what the citizens of Le Sueur County should expect. These values have been long lasting traditions in Le Sueur County, and I intend to keep it that way. I am confident in my abilities and I trust that I make the right decisions for my Staff, the Office, and the Le Sueur County tax payers. I feel that with the knowledge and experience as your current Sheriff, my experience as Chief Deputy, as well my education and common sense approach, I am the most qualified person to be elected as Le Sueur County Sheriff.
I am always available at my Office or away from the Office, therefore, if there are questions or concerns regarding the current law enforcement in Le Sueur County, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
If there are any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the 2018 campaign, you can always reach me at elect@brettmasonforsheriff.com
I am proud to announce that I have the support from the past four Le Sueur County Sheriffs’:
Sheriff Pat W. Smith Jr. (1978-1998)
Sheriff David Gliszinski (1999-2010)
Sheriff Thomas Doherty (2010-2014)
Sheriff David Tietz (2014-2017)
I look forward to continuing to provide you with the protection and service that you deserve!
Respectfully,
Brett V.P. Mason
